Today was an exciting day. We had registration from 1:00-3:00. Once all churches got situated we had the welcome celebration where we welcomed them all to Ottawa and introduced all the people they would be working with. Once welcome celebration was over, it was time for dinner. Dinner was delicious. We had beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and steamed vegetables. They are taking care of us here in Ottawa this week. After dinner all the participants broke into the crews they would be working on this week so they could get to know each other and find out what kind of work they will be doing.

During crew chats, 4 students volunteered to be in charge of 4 different positions. Breakmaster, Devotion Leader, Evangelism Recorder and The Medic. Breakmasters are in charge of getting the coolers filled up with ice and water each morning and it is their job to make sure everyone is drinking enough water. Devotion Leaders lead the crew in a daily devotion in order to keep them energized through scripture. Evangelism Recorders are in charge of recording any and all presentations of the Gospel so that we can make sure the people we come in contact with get plugged into a local church. Lastly, Medics are in charge of keeping everyone safe and getting medical supplies if they are needed.

After training was done we moved into our worship service. Our theme verse is 2 Corininthians 5:14-15. We are challeniging the students to live Unhindered lives and persue Christ with all that they have.Pray that God would do mighty things as the participants go out for their first day of work tomorrow. Until Next time.
