Yesterday morning we woke up at 6 AM in order to get in a good breakfast before starting our first work day. After getting some nutrition and coffee, the breakmasters filled the water coolers and the evangelism recorders grabbed their tracks in order to be adequately prepared for the day.
Gathering in front of the middle school, we all circled up and soaked the day ahead with prayer, asking for safety and for God to be glorified in everything we do. Soon after the crews left, the Lord blessed us with some rain, putting the heat off a little bit longer.
It was a productive day with crews working hard and students evangelizing and loving on the community until they began trickling back in the school around 4 PM in order to take showers and get ready for dinner, worship and youth group devotions.
