Today was a great day for our participants. They all had good attitudes and were ready to go early this morning. Summer staff got to visit most of the work sites today and it was very encouraging to talk to some of the homeowners. One homeowner said, “It’s such a blessing” to have world changers here and I could tell that the homeowners were very touched by the participants’ dedication. The homeowners that I talked to acknowledged that God is definitely answering prayers and working in their lives. Participants were hard at work despite the 97 degree weather.
Despite the rain, we still had some people come out to the block party this evening. Homeowners got to fellowship with World Changers and the community. It was great to have First Baptist Vero Beach youth group out there helping.
For this week’s offering, we have collected $983 for 10 North American Church Plants to start youth ministries. World Changers are giving to allow other students to have the fellowship of a youth group like they have experienced.
We look forward to the rest of the week as God continues to work through our students in Vero Beach!
