This morning was the Great Send Off, we all took a few minutes to circle up and prayed for our week here in Sioux City. After that the students, excitedly headed out to the worksites and got to work, despite the rain in the forecast. Throughout the day everyone proved that God’s will is bigger then a few rain drops, and crews stayed hard at work.
The City was so excited about our arrival that we were interviewed by a local TV station first thing in the morning. Students in this interview did a great job sharing Christ’s love and really reminding listeners why we’re here. This interview will be posted tomorrow so stay tuned!
Tonight we will promote our offering. The offering is going to ten church plants across North America that are invested in student ministry. Our goal here is to collect $1500, Pray the students would give sacrificially to those who have no student ministry. Stay updated to see if we met our offering goal and to see how the work sites are coming along!
