They are finally here! All three churches arrived today and we couldn’t be more excited to have them here. We have First Baptist Church of Monroe from Monroe, Georgia. First Baptist Church of Juneau from Juneau Alaska. And Island Pond from New Hampshire. We are so pumped to have these groups with us this. For most all of the participants this will be their first World Changers experience so we cannot wait to see what God is going to do in and through all the participants this week.
Today was a busy day here in Wasilla/Palmer. We had registration from 1:00-3:oo and then after registration we had our welcome celebration at 3:30. After that we had a delicious Spaghetti and meat balls dinner with veggies and garlic bread and some delicious brownies and ice cream for dessert. After dinner we had our worship service and the students finished the night in youth group devotions. All of the participants are excited to get started to work and we can’t wait to see the work they are going to accomplish. Be in prayer that we would be bold in our faith and would share Christ at any opportunity we are given. Pray for the lives that we will come in contact with that God will soften their hearts for the message he wants to deliver through our participants.
