This morning the participants woke up bright and early to enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to their first day of work. First we gathered together for prayer, commissioning our work and reminding ourselves that the LORD is before us and is Students and adults loaded up their vehicles and set out for the road ahead.
Last night brought in a heavy down pour of rain, much needed in the Shreveport area, which brought in cooler weather and clouds, which blocked out the hot sun. Throughout Shreveport and the Greenwood area the Gospel was presented and God was working in the hearts of the people and the participants.
We are excited to see what else is in store for us during our week here at Shreveport. Please be praying for all those who will be working this week, that the weather would continue to be nice, that the Gospel would be presented and accepted and that we would all experience Christ in a new way this week!
