The Crews

These are the eighteen crews that worked hard this week in Biloxi. Pray for them as they return home. Pray that God will have used this week not only to impact Biloxi, but also to impact their lives as well.

Wholehearted

The second day of work is complete. New roofs are forming, sheetrock is shaping nearby homes and churches, and new paint is recoloring the Biloxi/Gulfport area. Participants are working hard.

Tonight was a special time of worship called the Concert of Prayer. It is a special time when the participants get a chance to worship through a guided prayer experience. God opened the eyes of participants to areas of their life that they need to praise God for, areas of sin that they need to repent from, areas that they should be thankful for, and areas of their life that they can come before the Father asking His help. Praise God for challenging us to live wholeheartedly.

Pray that God would be continuing to give strength and unity to crews as they impacting Biloxi, one world at a time.

Sent out

“And then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘whom shall I send and who will go for me,’ and then I said, ‘Here I am, send me.’” Isaiah 6:8

This morning the roofing crews were up, prayed over, and sent out at 6am so they could get on the roof and work in the cooler morning air.  At 7am, the rest of the crews were prayed over and sent off to their respective sights.

The day was full of hard work. Pray for these students as they work in the heat amidst the Biloxi/Gulfport Community. Pray for multiplied rest and that these students would have boldness in sharing the love of Christ.

Set Apart

This morning 18 crews met for the first time. They each worshipped with the area church that is bringing them lunch this week followed by a trip to the worksites. The students are ready to start the work and spend time in the community.

Tonight Brian Richards, the speaker this week, challenged the students to be Set Apart in their passion for God’s glory. He reminded the students to live their lives as an example before others.

Pray for these students as they begin work in the morning. It is very hot, so pray that the participants will be safe.
