Buffalo Bowling!

# of homes worked on: 25

# of decisions: 4

Thank you you everyone for you participation in the project. The city of Buffalo has been changed for the better and greatly appreciative. The participants touched so many lives and their lives have been changed forever. Tonight the participants were challenged with asking should I not go instead of should I go because we are ALL called to GO!!!!

Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement. Please pray for the participants as they travel home!

Bison Blog!

This years offering is going to three different things. The first is Ministry in Canada where students work for the summer helping church plants grow the church and evangelizing to the neighborhood. The second is Kaleo Conference which is a weekend conference for students who feel called to vocational ministry. The third is Urban Evangelism which is for people that have graduated college and spend two years in the urban environment helping to grow local churches and listening to the needs of the community. The students gave $2,270.86 towards the offering which is awesome!!!

Buffalo Happenings!

DAY TWO! The crews left this morning with as much excitement as they had yesterday. A couple of the crews are actually going to be finished by the end of the day today which means tomorrow they will go to a new site or help another crew that has a big project. As I shared last night there were 54 people that had the Gospel presented to them yesterday and I am excited to see the number today. Only 1 out of 20 people in the area are christians, that was a statistic that was shared with all of us on Saturday. So it is a really good thing that the participants comprehend that they are here to spread the name of Christ and we are using the construction as our foot in the door to the neighborhoods.

I hope I get to see several students covered in dirt and paint with funny tan lines from their glasses because then you can see that they have been working. They are always so proud to be covered in all the filth because they know what is for and can be proud of the work they are doing all the while directing the praise and glory to Christ!!

Buffalicious!

Today was the Great Send Off and it was very exciting! Chuck challenged the participants to give it all that they have each and everyday. The crews worked extremely hard and several of the crews came back pretty much black from roofing and other such projects. Also there were 54 people that had the gospel presented to them today. It is incredible to see how Christ is working in the lives of the participants and that the participants actually get why they are here.

Bringing it to Buffalo!

The crews meet for this first time this morning and it was great. They all seem to enjoy each other company and are excited about starting work on the sites tomorrow! Please pray for safety, completion of the projects, hearts of the students and homeowners.

Tonight’s worship was incredible the students were so focused and we could all tell they were there to worship and be challenged. The pictures are from tonight’s worship but they are not the best because of lighting.
