This week 14 crew worked on 14 different houses. Out of the 162 participants involved in the World Changers project their were 6 salvations, 7 students planning to be baptized, and 22 students rededicated their lives to God. Also, one student plans to commit a summer as a missionary for Christ.
Thank you so much for an awesome week of service and changing the world one house at a time. See you next year!!!

The students here all have a giving heart. Even though this was a smaller project the participants gave $1,106.11. Each youth group collected their offering Sunday night and then brought it forward. I am so proud of these students for giving of their time and money this week.
The offering taken up this summer went to three different missions.
- Kaleo Conferences- Specialized events for high school, college, and seminary students exploring or pursuing God’s call to a Christian related vocation. The goal of World Changers is to be able to fund four regional Kaleo conferences in 2008, which would equip students to successfully answer God’s call on their lives.
- Canada- The cities are where most of the people in Canada live, but where there are the least number of evangelical churches. One desired outcome for Student Missionaries in Canada is evangelizing people for Christ and starting churches that will make an impact for generations.
- Urban Evangelism- The fastest growing segments among teens today are found within the Hispanic and African American community. In order to fulfill the Great Commission, we as the Church need to see the need for urban evangelism and respond. Therefore, the offering will fully fund four US/C2 to urban communities to build relationships and share Christ.
Because the project is coming to an end E-couragrams will not be accepted anymore.
Even though the crews head out before the sun rises it heats up quickly when you are working hard in the hot sun. For some participants this is their first time at World Changers, others have participated in as many as four or five other World Changers projects. The students all agree that being apart of something bigger than themselves is truly a life changing experience. As we visit the sites the residents express their great appreciation. Some of them do this by baking desserts for the crew working on their house, and some just sob because they do not have anything to offer these students in return. I think the students are realizing that as they work to try to bless the homeowners, they are the ones receiving the true blessing.
Continue praying for your students that they will have opportunities to share Christ with their homeowners and the people in the neighborhoods.

Up before the sun and huge smiles on their faces…sort of. The students all circle up and pray before they head off to their first day of work. And boy did they work. They were covered in dirt and grime when they got back to campus this afternoon. A typical World Changers workday begins at 7 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. Students do manual labor including roofing, painting, light construction, and yard work. Everyday ends with a time of worship and crew devotions.

The Great Send Off

Prayer before they go.

Keep Praying for your students and the homeowners. Also, remember to send E-couragrams.
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
Incomparable, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same
You are amazing God
You are amazing God
