Clarksville, TN Action Cam!

It’s Friday, Friday, getting down on Friday!!

This week in Clarksville has been an incredible week full of amazingness!

We had eight participants pray to accept Christ this week and many feel a call toward full-time ministry or missions! Woohoo!!! :D

Over 300 presentations of the gospel were presented to homeowners, neighbors, friends, and random people in Clarksville. We know God is going to use those planted seeds to change the lives of individuals forever!

Our missions offering goal of $2,000 was met and surpassed this past week; after staff auction, and construction hat auction we raised just over $2,100 that will play apart in changing the lives of students all across America!!

Praise God for his mighty work in Clarksville, TN this week! Thank you for your prayers and support; God has been and will continue to move in the city of Clarksville and the lives of the staff and participants for months and years to come!

Here is pictures of all of our amazing crews! Good work guys, we are so proud of each of you for serving selflessly.

Gotta have my team, gotta have them with me – today has been a great day!

This Wednesday has been a great day in Clarksville! With the rain holding back, crews were able to get a TON of work done on their homes! Many of the individuals and crews made sure that evangelism was a focus for today; they wanted to get their work done but knew that talking to others about Christ is much more important. With all crews combined there was a total of 160 presentation of the gospel today! Praise God!!

After a hard day of work, the crews headed back for an awesome concert! We also raised more money for missions and we are now up to $1,849! We are super close to our $2,000 goal!

The money this year will go to ten different church plants in the United States who desire to start youth groups in their churches to reach teenagers with the good news news of Jesus! We are super excited about all the lives that will be forever changed because of this offering.

During Free time after the concert the students found many ways to keep themselves entertained. Some like to play basketball, volleyball, and other games in the gym. Some play card games in the cafeteria, and other have a praise music jam session. Tonight was a blessing to watch as students from all different churches intermingled, made friends and shared stories of what God did on their sites today. It’s always encouraging when students learn how to let down walls and break up cliques; when they learn to love everyone around them even though they may talk, look, and act different then what they are used to.

God is doing a mighty work in the lives of these students this week and we are super blessed to witness God’s great work!!!

6am waken up in the morning, gotta be fresh, gotta change the world

Today was an increddible day in Clarksville, TN!

We started out with our traditional “Big Send Off” and everyone got excited about day one of our Clarksville adventure.

Teams worked hard for as long as they could but rainstorms quickly overtook most of the sites making work almost impossible, especially for the roofers. But thankfully God is in control and we know He is allowing this for a reason and we are excited about all He is teaching us about patience!

Gracious area churches provided delicious lunches for all the crews and they tried to get a little more work down before the thunder and lightning came. Teams had to head back to headquarters between 2:00pm-3:00pm because of the weather. Everyone hung out in the gym and the rest of the facility and God grew everyone in fellowship during this unexpected free time.

Teams are excited about tomorrow as weather is predicted to clear up! :D

Worship was a blessing this evening! Four individuals prayer to receive Christ for the first time!!! WOOHOOO Praise God! He has deffinetly been at work today and we are super excited to see God continue to work tomorrow. :)

Hey friends!

I hope y’all are as excited as we are for the 2011 World Changers project in Clarksville, TN! This year we will have 279 participants in attendance from fourteen different churches in ten different states!  Our coordinating staff has been working hard for months to pull this project together and we are stoked to have such a strong team of leaders with us this year. Let’s give a huge shout out to Michael Koontz, Project Coordinator; Greg Allred, Construction Coordinator; Wally Vinson, Associational Coordinator; and Troy Doster, your Speaker for the week.

This year we are staying at Richview Middle School, it is a larger facility with nice Worship, Dining, and Sleeping locations that should keep everyone excited to be here!

Your summer staff team is preparing for this project as we speak and they are extremely thrilled about getting to spend time with everyone in Clarksville!! Your team this year is comprised of the most efficient Office Manager around, from Salida, Colorado – the beautiful Stephanie Baker! We also have on our team the most talented music leader to be found, from Parowan, Utah, Andrew Marshall! On our team you will also find the coolest audio visual technician this side of the Mississippi–from Woodbridge, Virginia, Neal Samudre, and your Missions Communications Specialist this week is from deep in the heart of Texas, Carlee Ammons!!

This project has been prayed over by many people for the past several months and we are all incredibly excited about spending this week in Clarksville! We are expecting God to do great things in in homeland in ” The Queen City.”
