Congratulations World Changers Chattanooga! The week has come to and end but the journey for Christ is just beginning. This week you guys went out in Chattanooga and changed the city for Christ. As you built ramps, painted homes and rebuild rooftops God used you in a mighty way to share the image of Christ for many viewers to see. This week you worked hard through the sweat and rain. This week you were a World Changer!
After a long day of work the World Changers returned to Brainerd for a night of fun and celebration. Together they congratulated each other on an accomplishment of hard work this week. They lifted their voices and cheered as they gave thanks to God for an amazing week.
World Changers of Chattanooga you guys are amazing! This week God used you to really be an example of a Christ-like image. You guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After a day of play the student’s head back to work. The sky remains cloudy and heavy with rain as the students began another day of work. The week has already flown by so fast. The students have almost transformed all the scene of their projects this week. The students bonded for another day as they worked hard painting, roofing and nailing in ramp rails.
As the students worked hard the realization set in that tomorrow was the last day. The students realized that the finish line was just a step away and the spread of Gospel was still at work. The students worked hard as the sun hide behind the clouds. Together they completed devotions, stored up on lots of water and snacks and continue to work hard to finish their projects.
Returning to Brainerd, the students got washed up and dined together. Entering into worship they gave thanks to God for an awesome day. Almost finished the students have not only change lives and homes but God has changed them. Set apart for God’s glory and changed by the power of the Holy Spirit is World Changers Chattanooga 2009. Mission is almost complete.
Already the student’s have blasted off and now its time to relax. Midway through the week the students have already painted many walls, changed shingles and built ramps. With so much hard work the students finally get the afternoon and night off.
After awaking early for another day of hard work at noon together the student’s head back to prepare for the afternoon off. Thanks to the kindness and community-involved company, Chic-k-Fila feeds everyone. After a tasty meal the students get dressed and head out into the city of Chattanooga for a night of enjoyment.
The student’s feet pace around the city as they head up to the mountains and down to the malls. The students find fun everywhere and in between. World Changers of Chattanooga has been working hard for Christ. They are doing an awesome job and now its time to kick back and relax.
Already the students are departing for another of work. The sunrises and the student rejoice for another opportunity to share Christ with people in the community. The day starts off cloudy and cool. The student began to work quickly through the cool of the day. Old shingles fell on the ground as students ripped up rooftops. Smooth paint covered surfaces and ramps brought hope to the weak. Day two had a great start and the students were just getting started.
As the sun watched them, many of the students did an outstanding job of transforming the picture they once viewed Monday morning. The students worked together in Christian love and evangelized throughout the neighborhood about their Lord and Savior. Work went smoothly and fast. Soon the students were back to Brainerd Baptist and ready for a Concert of Prayer they’d never forget.
Entering in quietly into the sanctuary dimed lights welcomed them into the Concert of Prayer. Soft music of worship songs whispered in the ears and soothed the soul. Students enter into prayer revealing their deepest wounds to the only healer that has ever existed. The students cry out to God as they pray about every issue that has affected their life. The presence of God consumes the sanctuary and the anointing of God fell heavily upon each and every person.
Today World Changers of Chattanooga got ready for the first day of work. The students woke up early before the dawn of the sunset. Ready for work with their nail aprons and hammers the participants gathered hands for prayer. They prayed for the strength of God and an amazing week. As the sun began to rise the participants burst out of the parking lot like exploding dynamite. Joyful roars and cheers blew threw the windows of the buses as they drove off toward the beginning of a week they’d never forget.
The sun began to breathe its heat upon every participant’s neck as they worked. Old shingles flew off rooftops as old paint scattered the ground like snow. The students began a huge task to transform the resident’s home as they sought ultimately to reach souls for Christ. This week 32 crews broke out into the city of Chattanooga in order to evangelize about our Lord and Savior. This week World Changers enter into the battlefield for Christ.
After a hard days work the student’s return to Brainerd Baptist for a night of worship. Overflowing with joy the students celebrated their first day of work. They praised God for the completion of one day and the beginning of changing someone’s life.
Yesterday 350 participants rolled into Chattanooga ready for an experience they’d never forget. The experience is just beginning. Rising for a day of praise and prep were the World Changers. The day started off with more Krispy Kreme donuts than your watery mouth could bare. The students ate breakfast and hung out with the crews until they were ready to depart for Church services. The students scattered across the gym as little by little they disappeared for Sunday worship.
Arriving in worship, host churches welcome World Changers participants with appreciation for the week. Together the students entered into worship with praise and excitement. After worship the students headed out to the worksites to gaze upon the battlefield for Christ they would face for the week.
After a long day of traveling the students got equipped with knowledge in their crew positions. The students gained the importance of evangelism throughout the neighborhood and entered into worship ready to rock out for Christ. As hands claps and voices roared World Changers participants prepped themselves for a week they would never forget.
Stepping on the scene are individuals blazing on fire for Christ. Arriving at Brainerd Baptist are World Changers of Chattanooga! Welcome. The movement for Christ is shaking the city of Chattanooga once again as the second crew of World Changers arrive in Tennessee.
Breaking on the scene, in the blaze of the sun arrive the participants for this week. With anticipation to get started, the students arrive ready and pumped for a week of being set apart for God. As the students check-in the atmosphere fills with laughter and excitement. After drives from far and farther the student blast off in the Opening Celebration. Roars explode from lips as the ceilings shake with the excitement of World Changers participants. The participants have started the week they waited for and the fun is just beginning.
After unloading their life’s luggage, the student fellowship and gain familiarity with the lodging of the week. The students venture out and rejoice for they know the week of amazement in the spirit of God is about to start. World Changers participants entered worship that night geared for seeking the face of the Lord. World Changers Chattanooga erupted on the scene of Tennessee! Let the fun begin!!!!
